1. Bangkok
Bangkok is the  heart of Thailand

Krung Thep Maha Nakhon is the full name for Bangkok, which is the capital city of Thailand.  This city is the center of everything such as the Central Government Offices, Big Brand business,  transportation & principal port, hospital, and education so these make Bangkok a large and busy city.

Bangkok has historical events from 100 years ago, so there are many authentic and ancient places such as temples and palaces:

Thais pay attention to eating and food so you can see they sell food everywhere through the street and boats.

 

2. Chiang Mai

This city has nice weather that is cooler than Bangkok, so the lifestyle is cool and relaxing. There are chic styles of coffee shops and ultimate markets for people who like to feel chill walking.

The Historical Park is the main tourist attraction that is located just west of Sukhothai city. It is a very big area so you can explore by bicycle to see many little temples and the giant Buddha statue.

5. Pattaya

Pattaya is famous for tourists that are not far from Bangkok. It is on the east coast of the Gulf of Thailand. Pattaya is a city for tourists that is easy to find accommodation, hotels, restaurants, and chic cafes. 

You can see that Pattaya has a variety’s entertainment for tourists. The popular attractions are beaches and islands such as Coral Island (or Koh Larn), Jomtien Beach, and Pattaya Beach. You can shop and chill at Pattaya Floating Market.

There are a lot of activities such as snorkeling, scuba diving, walking the street at nightlife, and exciting Tiffany’s Cabaret Show.

Phraya Nakhon Cave (ถ้ำพระยานคร) is the one unseen in Thailand. Inside the cave, there is a “Phra Throne Hall” which was built in 1890 or the Pavilion of 5th King Chulalongkorn. 

The cave has a funnel on the top roof that let natural light into Phra Throne Hall.

– There are another 2 caves that are worth seeing, including Tham Kaew and Tham Sai (caves).  They are a cave that is still natural, and a spectacular cave with stones that are translucent like glass.

Thung Sam Roi Yot, the lotus field is the biggest lake in Thailand.

8. Surat Thani
The famous tourist place in Surat Thani, there are many places. Whether it’s natural attractions such as islands which are beautiful coral, clear water, white sand beach, and nice coconut juice. 

Highlight islands:

– Koh Samui is a famous tourist island in the south of Thailand. This island is a perfect tourist destination, with millions of tourists visiting both Thais and foreigners a year. There are many types of accommodation, convenient transportation, and the airport.

– Samui’s landmark has rocks with a funny shape that is called Grandpapa-mama on Lamai beach. They look like male and female sex genitalia. Lamai beach is very beautiful, peaceful, and suitable for people who travel to chill out. 

– Koh Nang Yuan is a unique tropical island that is famous for the Open Sea which has 3 little islands linked together by sand beaches.

9. Kanchanaburi

Kanchanaburi is located in the western region of Thailand. The main attraction has amazing waterfalls, historical monuments, Caves, and an ancient Model of Town.

People will know the Burma Railway, also known as the Death Railway, which has a famous attraction to visit the memorials in World War II Sites. In addition to visiting other historical sites such as Chong Kai War Cemetery, and Kanchanaburi War Cemetery (Don Rak).

The death railway is the bridge over the River Kwai and the death curve, which was built during World War II using prisoners of war and Asian laborers by the Japanese army.

Another beautiful attraction is Erawan Waterfall (น้ำตกเอราวัณ) that is a large waterfall located at the Erawan National Park.  It is such a beautiful waterfall and emerald green water. This Waterfall has 7 layers by the distance from the bottom floor to the top floor is 1500 meters.

10. Trang

Trang is a famous tourist city in the south of Thailand that is well-known for beautiful beaches and islands with clear water, and a calm atmosphere such as Koh Lao Liang, Koh Kradan Koh Ma, Koh Chuak, Koh Mook, etc.

The highlight attraction is Morakot Cave (Emerald Cave) which is located on Koh Muk. It is a wonderful cave in the middle of the sea. 

 

From the entrance to the cave was a small hollow.  We must go swimming or rowing a boat depending on high and low tides with a distance of 80 meters.
