I want to share pictures of the various kinds of help, whether from true heroes.

These organizations helped evacuate flood victims from downtown Mae Sai and other areas, even during high floods and strong currents, in the middle of the night. They didn’t wait for the water to recede or for daylight; they acted as quickly as possible.

From August 16 to September 11, 2024, there were flash floods and heavy runoff in many areas across northern, northeastern, central, and southern Thailand. The most severely affected regions were in the north, such as Chiang Rai and Nan, where strong floods hit homes and agricultural areas.

They are skilled in dealing with strong currents and were able to get people trapped in their homes to safety.

They even had to carry newborn babies in plastic tubs to safety in the middle of the night.

The Royal Thai Navy

For the large survival kit is for 4 people and can last about 7 days. The items inside include a set of clothes, hygiene items, 1 liter of drinking water, 3 meals of ready-to-eat food, 5 kilograms of rice, and 2 packs of instant noodles.

Field kitchens from military units 33 and 37 are preparing meals in collaboration with volunteers from various sectors. These meals are gradually distributed to officials and flood victims in the area.
